Either that or make something like bbcode - let members type and and change it (with replace command) to <i> and </i>

I'd like an auto journal type thing that makes journal entries every so often by tracking out form and chat behavior.

You do enough talking as it is without getting the site to talk for you :)

I know I've said this before, but personally I think where they would be really useful is in oppinions. A number of people like to write long oppinions and it would be incredably useful to be able to emphasize certain points without having to say "this is especially important" or some such. Plus you could put section headings in bold to make it more readable. People use all kinds of systems and formating for oppinions but I for one am often frustrated by the limited tools.

I think it'd least be nice in ops to be able to link folks to some of the guides.

you would have to limit the tgs allowed to just being able to link <a href=>

and thenfind a way to make it only link to places on the org
(notsure if that can be done)

but I think being able to do that for oppinions would be nice

Way to break html, dinger. This is one reason why it's easier to just remove tags.
