I just did a search to see the new videos entered over the past couple of days. I have noticed this before, but i think this is the worst its ever been: Out of 198 videos, 13 are actually available for download.
Now i realize that alot of them were probably entered for upload, and they just haven't yet, but do alot of people here just register videos they have ideas for, or would like to do, but haven't and quite possibly will not? If so, why?? I never list one untill i am ready to upload at that time.
Also, is there a time limit a video that has been registered will stay listed on the site before it is deleted, if it has not been uploaded? It doesn't seem an accurate way to count all of the AMVs created when people are just registering stuff that doesn't exist.
Sorry if this has been pointed out before, it just caught my eye and made me wonder.

I've noticed this in the past too... not for server down time but with videos in general... A lot seem to not exist. Sure it dosn't take up much of the server to host info on a video that isn't there, but it's annoying in the searches to find a lot of videos show up that may or may not even have been made... Although, i guess by choosing "downloadable", or as i often do "local," when you search, the problem disapates.

This question is handily answered by noting that the .org is an AMV catalog first and a download center second.BasharOfTheAges wrote:I've noticed this in the past too... not for server down time but with videos in general...
