Problems puttin pic in profile

I use firefox and when I try to upload a pic into my profile and click submit, it takes a long time then firefox displays an error message saying "The file contains no data" or something like that.

Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?

How big is the picture (file size)?

I'm at school right now so I don't know for sure, but i think it's around 400 kb

If you read the rules for avatars in your profile, it says no avatar is allowed that is greater than 80x80 pixels, and no bigger than 6 KB in file size. 400 KB is too large anyway, so try a different pic.

okay, i still don't get it. I'm trying to upload a jpg into my profile so I have a nice picture for everyone to look at, it's only 158kb and I'm using firefox. I try to upload, it takes forever, and then i get an error saying "the document contains no data"

does anyone know why this happens? or how to fix the problem?

Yeah, I see it to. Maybe there is something wrong with Firefox with downloading the pics. Try looking at the profile in IE.

Yes, sorry, thansk everyone for checking, i decided to try uploading the pic in IE and it worked fine, damn, :oops: sorry for taking so long to reply, anyway, it's working fine now, thanks for the help
