I go to upload my vids to the site but in stead of uploading, my windows media player pops up the the vid plays. can someone help? thank you

What exact steps are you taking, and where exactly is this happening?

Wow! I had that exact same problem, at around the same time too.

I fixed it by changing some settings in my browser's options. I use Firefox so It may be different for you, but I'll tell you anyway.

Tools=> Options=> Downloads=> Plugins

and un-check the format of the video you are trying to download. It will now download rather than start automatically.

I go to the upload vid section, I type in all the ness. stuff. etc. password and all that. then the nago thing comes up. and then when I would normaly drag and drop my file in thier folder. But I do it now and it just plays in my windows media player.

Wait, when you go the the FTP site (which should be Kero, not Nago now) and drag a file onto it, it plays?!
