total stars versus downloaded

Okay... i'm a little confused as to how this works, i thought i understood at some point but go figure...

Is the "stars" rating on a vid in your edit video screen the total number of stars you have recieved for a video, or the number of people who downloaded that video and gave you a star rating?

I was kinda confused when i saw total stars = 190, total downloads = 210 and star avg = 3.5 (all figures round because it's easier that way) either i'm missing stars from 20 people or 150.

Yes, 20 people have not yet left a star.

Thoughs twenty people have not left a star yet. By the time they all do the star/download ratio could possibly be roughly the same.

Also, some people could've downloaded the video twice but could only leave one star, right?
