Top 10% filters

Post by Zarxrax » Sat Jan 29, 2005 1:24 pm

I was wondering if the bayesian averaging thing applies on the top 10% when you click on the filters? Because if you filter by lip sync or effects, there are a LOT of videos in the #1 spots, many of which certainly don't even belong there. And some barely have the minimum number of required opinions.

Well, if you look at the algorithm at the bottom of the page, the Bayesian averaging step only comes in at the very end, taking the composite score, review, and overall. So I'm guessing not.

Hey,

The Bayesian average is only applied to the default overall score list. I never got around to applying it to all filters. Working on it...
