I want to suggest that when you log into the a-m-v.org site, it also logs you on the forums. When you log on to the forums, it logs you into the site.

From what I know about such things, the phpbb preferences have a `cookie path' and `site name', where you could specify it to apply accross the whole site. Then you just have to have both using the same cookie and auth method (the tricky part). It is probably easier to make the org site conform to phpbb's methods then the other way around.

phpbb fetchall is sometimes a usefull mod for learning how to grab things like the phpbb login procedures.
