Blargh! My download no workee...!

I attempted to download the following videos:

AMV Hell, by Zarxrax;

and Wizard of Oz, by Venomi.

For some strange reason, when I tried to play them, the audio worked fine, but the video was all scrambled and stuff. Then this message box appeared that said "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Could someone please tell me what's going on and how I could fix it?

Its possible that you might not have the proper codec installed on your machine to see the video.. once you download and install the codecs it should solve that problem.

I think a link to the codecs are in the guides. but don't quote me on it.
