Review Probs
aaaargggggg!!!!!!!!!
ok let me explain what happened..i wanted to leave a detailed review on a Vid, it took me about 40 min to complete it, then i wanted to send it in ...but what happened???
The login page appeared!!! I immediately clicked on the back button, but the review was gone....
!"§$%&/()="§$%&/(%$&§"!§$%&/()/&%$&§%"$%&/(&%$§"§$%&/WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Well i talked to a friend of mine who's also member of the .org, and he told me that the same thing happened to him, too. For a short time u somehow get logout while writing a (time consuming) review.
Arg..
Is there any way one can fix that??? Did someone faced the same problem?

what kind of connection do you have? If it's dialup, timing out after 40 minutes of inactivity should be no surprise; write the review in a text-editor and paste it in after it's complete if this is the problem.
If not, the .org logs people out after 8 hours automatically. If you hadn't been connected that long, no idea what the problem was.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Hmmm i have dsl, but the case is that i got logged out from that site, not from the internet. Yeah probably its better to write reviews offline =/[/code]what kind of connection do you have? If it's dialup, timing out after 40 minutes of inactivity should be no surprise;

As much as I hate to sound like Phade, Firefox (or whatever they call it this week) keeps form data when you click the back button. It's saved me frustration many a time.
Back when I was using IE and couldn't rely on form data being kept, just before I'd submit something like an op I'd open a new window then cut and paste the text to it. That way regardless of if I had to log in, the site went down, or whatever I still had another window with the op in it.

Re: Review Probs
The real problem here is that what should happen is that once you log in, the action that was interrupted by the login request should be completed.Brain-Carnival wrote:The login page appeared!!!
But, unfortunately, it isn't...
