Ok. The star rating system only goes from 1-5 and is kind of a "quick and dirty" way of rating. They download your vid, and just assign a rating to it (they generally also have to give you a star rating . . .eventually) . The other, more in-depth ones are opinions, and the ratings on these goes from 1-10, through a plethora of different categories, along with comments from the viewer about what they did/didn't like, or what they think that you could improve on.
Hope this helps.

Because if at any time there are 10 locally hosted vids that you have downloaded but not given star ratings to, you can't download any more local videos.Tsunami Jones wrote:Ok. Oh yeah, and only locally hosted vids can receive star ratings.

Star go from 1-5, 5 being the best, and are required every time someone downloads a local video. Opinions have several categories, and each one goes from 1 to 10 , ten being the best. Opinions are voluntary, and they include space for people to tell you why they did or did not like your video. They can, therefore, be very useful if you read them. You may not get any opinions (ops for short) for a while, but this is common. If you decide you really want one, you can go to the opinion exchange forum and offer to give someone an opinion while they do one for you, or you can take advantage of the people giving away free opinions. Once you have a certain number of opinions, everyone who looks at your video information will be able to see the averages for each category, though they can't see the opinions themselves.
