(I hope this isn't a redundant question; couldn't find anything about it around the site)
I only have a couple videos uploaded to the local server, but I have been removing old links to videos that are no longer up to my standards. I'm not trying to remove the video info, of course, just the actual link to the old copy. with my direct and indirect links, that's easy, but I wonder if there is a way to do with with the local downloads?
the reason I ask, I am remastering most of my old videos with newer methods, and would eventually like to replace the old copies with the newer and nicer ones. again, easy to do for direct links, but I'm confused as to what to do with local downloads. is it possible to request that a video be removed from the local server, or replaced with a newer version?
possible to remove or update old videos on local server?

ah, ok. I suppose some videos may qualify like that, but the first one I've remastered has one big scene change (due to my only having half the series to work with originally). does this mean I will need to add a new entry for this video, even though there is just that one difference? I guess I'll be adding that one as new video then as soon as the new version premieres.Phade wrote:Hey,
If the video is frame-for-frame exactly the same except it has better visual quality, the local video file can be replaced. If the scenes are altered in any way, the video is a new video and should get its own entry. I hope this helps.
Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

thanks for the help! ^_^
