Is it possible to link to a specific part of a thread?

How can I reference a particular part of a thread that is posted in a forum?

Say someone asks about (for example) ripping playstation footage and I want to link right to the post half way down the page, or on page 3, or 6, or 23 or whatever, and I want to place a link to that spot.

sorry for the double post, but i knew that you can do it when you make a post, you will get the click here to view your post, looks something like this

the numbers at the end are the posts location and what not.

now....anyone want to tell what they mean and how to caculate them knows more then i O_O

if you hover your mouse over the "quote" button you'll see the post number there. You can use that number to create your direct link.

It seems that the little sheet-of-paper graphic by the "Posted: [date] [time]" at the top of each post gives a direct link. Right-click on that and select "Copy link address", and there you go.
