What are "spoilers" in an AMV?

Showing scenes that would tell too much about the series to someone who hasn't seen it. Like character X dying or couple Y getting married in the end.

But it's not like they are prohibited or anything.

Personally I think people who watch AMVs should always be prepared for a few spoilers.
