Opera won't work with GetRight, Opera has its own download manager that's just as good as GetRight...

Opera/Mozilla > GetRight, DAP, and most others

the opera dl manager is only beter than IE's in the sence that you can pause/resume downloads. the best dl manager i reckon is IDM (internet download manager), mainly befause you can do a "download all links" , which is handy when downloading manga on sites that display them instead of zipping, oh and, it can also dl swf files from flash sites like new grounds

Downloading with Opera

Post by ForYouToSee » Mon Jan 26, 2004 9:22 pm

So I decided to not download with GetRight and download with Opera (like most of you suggested). I downloaded 2 videos with Opera (one from AMV, the other from another place), but when I got offline (I hit the stop button before going offline) and re-enter the next day, they couldn't find the file size and have to restart all over again. But with the video I trying to download from AMV, it could not even find the file size and therefore, did not even start the download.
What do I have to do to make it not happen like this? Should I download with a download manager?

Well, crap. It seems that I'm having exactly the same problem. Anyone know how to fix this?

Used to happen to me all the time, but I just resumed a d/l like ten minutes ago. It's really just luck, it seems. :?

Downloaded IDM, now what?

Post by ForYouToSee » Tue Jan 27, 2004 8:30 pm

So I download IDM (Internet Download Manager) and when I went back to Opera, click on the video I want to download, IDM won't pop up (the download pop-up of Opera would), even though IDM is already intregrated to Opera.
What should I do to get it to pop up?
