Help me! (star ratings)

I think someone's just messing with my head now because a couple days ago a star rating suddenly changed on one of my vids, and today my star rating for a different vid plummited, when the only way it could have gotten that low was for someone to give me a 1. Does god just not like me or is there actually something wrong with the star ratings right now???
(Also, Not even my worst of vids has ever gotten a 1 before)

If you don't have a lot of stars, someone giving you a poor rating can indeed make your average change a good bit. Some people just give 1's, thats life

yea, well everyone who watches my videos gives me 1's and 2's heh. I dont know how you can get 9's in ops and have a 2.70 star average -_-

after you get like 50 ratings or so, your rating should reflect what the average viewer thinks of your vid, and won't change much afterwards.
plus getting 1's doesn't affect your score as much with so many ratings, as zarxrax mentioned.

Also, members who give all the same scores (all 1's, all 5's, etc) are not used in star average calculations. This rule currently affects only 243 members.
