Just wondering, my dear site admin, as to why we don't get the chance to give star ratings to indirect, (and possibly direct...haven't downloaded many in a while)...and why they don't appear on our downloads page...locals are so much more convienient because of this and makes remembering to op them easier. Anyways I think it's something to consider...if someone can come up with a decent method of tracking said indirect/direct...

I guess the main problem with that would be confirming that you actually completed the download. Unless there is a way to tell with Direct/Indirect.

Perhaps they could show up on the downlaods. Only with a completed checkbox to go along with it. [Yes/Remove(failed)]

I completely agree with this. It's such a shame indirect and direct links can't be given star ratings...

And know that we have that link-checker thingy, I think it's a good move to have star ratings affiliated with everything. =p

I would like this as well but there are malicious members out there...

Declan_Vee hit the problem right on the head: There is no way to confirm that you actually downloaded the video or not. This would be especially problematic on indirect links. Only with local links can the server be sure that you got the entier video file.
