how do i link my new video?

im super lost..this is my first aMV.....i tried to upload the video..and it gave me some info..but i have no idea what to link my video to. or where to put it...someone please help

Well, first off you have to be here 2 weeks before you can upload or download. Unless of course you donate to the org.

Second, To upload your video onto the org servers, you'll need and FTP server program. You may have one alreayd on your machine if you are running a windows OS.

Follow the directions you are given after clicking on the 'upload video' option on your member login page.

You'll cut and paste the user ID and password and the server address. It's pretty easy.

Depending on the FTP program you'll move over your video in different ways, but most are click and drag or pushing an arrow. By the way, make sure your video has already been entered into the catalog before starting this process. Make sure you check the file before finalizing by downloading it yourself on the final screen. You can't go back and change it if the file is messed up after you click the final submission button.

If you have your own server somewhere, you'll simply make an indirect link (you link to your website with the video link on there to download) or direct, by putting the actual link to the video (the url of the video download itself) on your video download information while you are putting the video into the catalog.
