partail downloads why???
ok ive been downloading some local downloads lately and for some reason i keep getting partail dl. does it have some thing to do with the way they uploaded the video or do i have to go into xp and change some thing under performance and maintence? or do i just need a faster internet connection like cabel or dsl? cause this is really getting annoying so if some one could help id appreciate it.

The ORG has been getting hit pretty heavy. My downloads aren't as fast as they were before.
With a 56K modem you have higher latency and a bigger chance of getting a timeout which would close your connection to the ORG. When this happens sometimes IE will give you an error msg, other times it'll act like the download completed.
The only way around this is to use a download resumer. Mozilla, Opera & FreshDownload seem to work. I know Opera works becuase I tried it, but I wasn't able to get FreshDownload working(OzzieArcane was). I do not have Mozilla, so I was unable to test that.
