Local Downloads...

I got a problem with local downloads, and i already read that downloading guide by moonslayer, but i still can't find out what my problem might be. I logged in, searched for a video and that stuff... clicked on 'local', but there's never a file download window showing up, it only brings me back to that 'my member profile' page.
please don't kill me if this question had been here before... i'm just a little girl
