"Incomplete, complete" download?

When I tried to download a 20mb video, it only went to 3mbs then stopped, and the file said it was complete when obviously it wasn't. The site also said the download was complete. When I tried to redownload it, it got to 4 mb before stopping.

It's like my computer doesn't like to download anything from a site more than 2 mb. My default is Windows media player, and it usually plays fine except whe I try to download a large file from a website.

I always hit 'save target as' because my comp doesn't like the AOL media player thing. I don't want to keep downloading from the site, only to get 1 more mb at a time. I'd assume that'd suck up a lot of bandwidth.

Any ideas that can help me? Thanks.
