what do the stars mean under category of your 'edit my video

what does the stars mean, and what would be considered a good average?

Hey,

The "stars" item is the number of star ratings that video has received. The "star avg" is the average rating for that video. Anything grater than or equal to 3 should be good. The current middle score is about 3.25 or so.
