I'm currently very confused about the search system on www.animemusicvideos.org. It doesn't seem to ever pull up anything I put on it (I even did the broad, BROAD search of Dragonball Z,) and I didn't even get a link to an AMV.
Perhaps one of you could tell me how to work the search engine?

Going step by step:
1. Go to the "Search Vids" option on the main menu
2. Go to Super Search
You get a list of categories used to find a video
3. Fill in some of the categories then press Search. (for example, enter Dragonball Z as the anime. You get 1652 results. If you get a really high number on anything, you might want to narrow it down by adding more to the categories, such as only showing videos that are downloadable (that brought the number down to 750).)
4. Click on the title of the video you want to check out.
5. The description page may have a link at the bottom where you can get the video.
Direct: The video can be downloaded directly from the page.
Indirect: A link that will take you to another site where the video is hosted.
Local: Currently only for donators.

This may also partly be the fault of the AMV authors. There's entries in the database of Dragonball Z, Dragon Ball Z, or DBZ. Now which is it? Is it the same thing, are they different things? Who the heck knows?
Now if you're complaining that you can't download the AMVs, then you should donate money towards the Dangling Carrot/Golden Donut so that they can be hosted and then you can download them. Be sure you're logged in from the main site when downloading AMVs as well. If you're impatient, email the creator and ask nicely for them to send it to you. Hopefully they'll still have it and be able to send it to you. If not, you're plumb out of luck.
