Direct links to the Dangling Carrot
I noticed that some of the vidz uploaded onto the Carrot are available via Direct download, instead of Local. The thing is, I haven't donated any money to the site yet, but I can still download these files. From what I've read on the forum and the Member page, this is considered leeching and I shouldn't be able to do this until April 21 (when everyone can download). That is, unless I donate early.
So are we allowed to link "Directly" to vidz we've uploaded onto the Carrot, for download? Or is this a type of privilege for members who donated already..?

I think maybe someone took the download URL and made a naughty. They're probably the leeches, the ones that made the direct link. Stay virgin, don't download.

Indirect - a link to a web site that has the download for the video
Direct - a link to a file on some other server for the video
Local - a link to the video hosted here at the Org
Direct and Indirect links will always be available for download no matter your status. Local downloads are limited to members only (membership will always be free). A video may be available in multiple areas. A video may be local, direct, and indirect at the same time.

I already understand how the Direct, Indirect, and Local download links work.. What's confusing me is how people are using the Direct links to link to a video hosted by the Org. More specifically, my question is: Am I allowed to Direct Link to my video, which I've uploaded onto the Dangling Carrot?
Again, I'm seeing quite a few people do this...

Only members who are logged into the site will be able to use the local link no matter where the link came from.
