making opinion visible triggers 'new opinion' alert

I'm not sure if it's an error or not, but just a moment ago I made an old opinion on one of my videos visible to the general public by clicking on that 'make visible' checkbox beneath the op. When I returned to my main page, however, I noticed that it had triggered two 'new/updated opinions' alerts.

Is that supposed to happen? Thanks.

Yeah, the trigger is if any part of the opinion is modified, it gets put up there. This will be changed in the future. Sorry about that...
