Forms in Linux

I'm currently using Linux and ran across a problem. For some reason, Linux won't let me input stuff into the search forms, so I can't search for videos and/or creators anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I kinda figured it out. It works fine until I switch to another desktop, then when I switch back, it doesn't work anymore. I'm using Mandrake 9.0, GNOME GUI, and my web browser is Galeon.
