Remember Me and Member Listing

First off, I'm a lazy ass.

I dont HATE typing out my username and my password all the time, but it'd be reaaaal nice if there was a remember me option on the main page like on this forum. Though, I did notice one on the page where you 'forget ur password' , but that's not the main page, and it doesn't work. Of course if there is one , DIRECT ME TO IT, for I have not found one.

SECOND!

I don't think there's that many users on at one time, or maybe there is. but I think it'd be neat-o-fucken-riffic, if there was a listing of who's on, on the main site, kinda like right under the Journal Listing thing.

The one in the 'forget your password' does work but maybe your privacy settings are blocking the cookie needed. To enable cookies for just this website (assuming you have IE) go to Tools > Internet Options and click on the Privacy tab. At the bottom click the Edit button and type into the address field:

animemusicvideos.org

and click allow. Then click ok twice to get back to the browser screen. Log in in the forget password area and click the remember me button and after you're logged in close your browser and open it up and check to see if it worked.

Please let me know if it worked for you. I'm pretty sure this is the problem but I hate giving the wrong advice.

As for the second suggestion on members on I agree that it would be kind of nice to see that from the main page.

Hey,

If you log out (found on the member main page) and then try to get back into the members section by clicking on the members link, you will come to the secondary login page with the "remember me" option.

The "who's on first" list is a good suggestion but will have to be done later.

I just have my homepage set to http://animemusicvideos.org/members/members_main.php
and it works ok if you've ever clicked the 'remember me' thing when mistaking your password and are cookied.

Ok, thanks for the link Mike.

Btw Corran, I was looking for the privacy tab and then later found out that i.e 5.0 doesn't have it. HEH! But thanks as well
