Instrumental Catagory

I’m not sure how difficult it would be to implement but an Instrumental catagory would be kind of nice to have for obvious reasons. Ever since I joined I’ve only been able to find two instrumental AMVs, one by Maboroshi and the other by Haruka (both of which were excellent).

Perhaps it could replace the ‘other’ category since it seems that trailers and instrumentals are the only genre not represented while trailers could easily fit under ‘parody’. I’m not sure how this would effect videos currently under ‘other’ but if it is adverse than it a new category could be created.

It would make voting for the VCA instrumental category easier as well.

Hey,

"Instrumental" is a property of the music, not of the video. The system will have to be modified to accept "is instrumental" as part of the music information. It's in the works...

while ur at it with the modifing the system, can you also add a cateogory for trailers too??
