Is the "Search By" option ever coming back?

It's been gone for a while now so I was wondering when/if it's ever going to come back.

It's getting annoying to search by something and a simple typo or anime/artist alias knocks off the whole search.

So anyone know anything about this issue?

People who don't type in the anime and song title correctly obviously don't care enough about their videos

It would be nice if we could get all the variants merged though. Like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Evangelion or Death & Rebirth, End of Evangelion.

And all the Dragon Ball series are a big muckety muck.

Phade has stated before that they will be back as soon as he is able to optimize the code so it doesn't kill his server. Since he's busy with the golden donut and all right now, I doubt he would be able to do it anytime in the near future. Since he's recruiting new people to help with the site coding though, maybe someone else will be able to fix it pretty soon.

Yeah, it will be completed soon after the programming assignments and tracking system is done.
