scene requests thread request

I'd like to see a sticky thread, either in General AMV or General Anime, in which users can request specific scenes they remember from the last time they watched a series (to use in their AMVs), which are then put onto a list, so that other users who are deciding anime to watch can choose from the list and keep their eyes peeled for the scene. Also, if you know the episode where a scene occurs, you can reply to the thread with that information.

Possible names for this thread:
You Know The Scene Where... (carries a healthy dose of TV Tropes charm)
What episode was *this*? (inspired by a similar thread on the Alderac Entertainment forum)
When did *this* happen? (more original-sounding variant of the above)
Scene Requests Thread (simple and effective, but kinda boring)

There already is a forum for this: AMV suggestions. You may ask those types of questions there.

I guess, but I don't think a lot of people peruse that forum looking specifically for such requests so that they can watch the anime in question. That was the main idea behind the thread; the ability to immediately answer requests was simply an added feature.

Because I can't make it sticky myself.

Then again if it turns out that I'm completely off in thinking this is a good idea it will just fall off the page anyway, so I guess I'll go ahead and post it.

Posts are made into stickies if they deserve to be. Start a thread that gains traction and is worth being stickied.

Honestly, that was the main reason I posted it here, just because it was something I'd like to see, and to find out if other people agreed with it.

You get that by having a great opening post and having people respond to it a bunch. Sticikies are rewards for the thread's usefulness. You start a useful thread and it happens naturally if it is meant to be.

Here's the deal, if you want the sticky, write up a post and see if it catches on, if it's good people will respond and it will get stickied...
