try typing 192.168.1.1 into your browser, or dslrouter, or whatever you have (I keep asking for ISP for a reason) when it pops up, open all of your fucking ports. Port Forward range 1-25535 and make it tcp outgoing.smellpoo wrote:alright mega upload is also not working for me haha. I'm using xp and i am not sure of any 3rd party firewalls. would that be the problem then?BasharOfTheAges wrote:It's more likely a firewall or port blocking issue than anything else... Have any 3rd party firewalls installed? What OS are you running?

If normal HTTP download (like, from megaupload.com with your browser) isn't working as well, I would consider searching for spyware. I can't think of firewalls even restricting http downloads that much.

Re: uploading with filezilla problem
I misunderstood when you said megaupload. I thought you meant downloading from megaupload, instead of uploading. When the upload hangs up, does your internet connection still work? I had a somehow *similar* issue that, when uploading, my connection would drop. Very strange, and even stranger the fact that it happened from time to time (I don't upload that much anyway). You can check the firewall details on control panel, though I doubt that's the problem since you even tried the megaupload with the browser. In most cases, not even the router would cause any kind of trouble on this.
