"top lists" revisited

I was going through the lists and was kind of wondering - wouldn't it be good to go through them and remove those obsolete ones and find some new listing instead of them?

My main point here is the most rated section - it had its meaning in the time of giving OPs but now that time has mostly passed (statistics: winner of the best last year's video (qwaqa, PoaL) has 17 OPs on it, while to get on this list you have to have over 200 OPs) - a list with these videos (like this one would be enough and instead something new can get there (probably connected with star rating or new videos).

You mean the top commented one? I guess it's just a list for keeping record of which are the most popular vids (after all, getting 200 ops isn't easy). I don't think, like you said, that someone is going to be able to surpass the ones that are already there, but maybe it's just there for the informative purpose.
A list with new videos with potential would be good. There was that good implementation of streaming videos (which I'm not sure if they had to be new) but could be used with this as well.
