AWA has a hundred different award categories and they change every year.

"PWEI", "Sick / Twisted", and "Timing Endeavor" are all AWA award categories but they really don't warrant and Org Genre update.

but I fully support an org category for "Sad Girls in Snow"

I think the main problem would be this. Any person can confuse his/her concept/idea for an AMV as a "story." Just about any AMV can tell a "story," only some can tell it better than others.

The only way I see it where it won't be confusing is when the story AMVs are classified by the AMV using some sort of narration and/or uses heavy lyric and/or lip sync or something.
