All right, what am I missing about the op system?

Post by DriftRoot » Thu Jul 24, 2008 8:06 pm

I just noticed this...and if there's a big explanation for it somewhere, all anyone has to do is point me towards it and I'll go away happy, but....

How come when I'm perusing the ops left on my AMVs, the scores on a particular op on the main page say one thing and then if I go in to add commentary/edit my commentary, the scores become something else? Like, on the main page they may have left a 10 for effects, but when I go into the op to edit my comments, it becomes a 9, or vice versa? It does this with a bunch of the ops on my videos, but not all of them.

I don't get it. :? How am I supposed to know what scores an individual actually left?

What number is changing? Are you confused by the fact that "Re-view" was never added to addcomment.php? Edit: I missed part of the post. Video example, please.

My guess is on the video info page you see either your average score for each category or the OP last given to you, which may not be the same as the OP you are responding to.

Ohhhh, yeap, that would be it. Duh...oy, that'll teach me to spend 14 hours a day staring at a computer monitor and then expect things to look right. Sorry!

I guess my eyes having that burning sensation wasn't enough of a hint...

Main page?

I tried finding anything acting up as you described, but my scores match when viewing ops and adding a reply.

[Corran: Wow, I'm slow... I guess shouldn't of hit reply before looking into it. :P]

Being on dial-up really kills my ability to keep up with a thread. *sigh*

To clarify: Doki's right, I overlooked that "Re-View" is missing from the page where you would add/edit commentary on an op you received. As I said, I'm a bit burned out at the moment so my brain leapt to the most outrageous conclusion (something's wrong with my ops!), rather than the most obvious (something's wrong with me!).
