Announcement forum suggestion

But all of that crap with kickass was more our fault than anything else. It was mostly due to people who kept posting in his threads and wouldn't let them die :/ Then the 'one announcement thread per week' or however long it is was introduced and that seemed to solve it.

I don't know if I could agree with not having the reply button on announcement forums, but i do understand all the reasons WHY eva wanted to get that change.

QCs are meant for the editor of the amv... and them alone (obviously or else they wouldn't be anonymous, and they would be public for any one to see)

announcement threads are for the editor and other possible passer-bys who might see it.

I will sometimes watch a video anyways even if all the posts say its crap, because I wanna see how much crap it really is, and a lot of the time I end up disagreeing with the majority of the posters (but I could have a much lower standard due to more exposure to the many kinds of crappy amvs on this site)

I really don't like the idea of taking away the reply button completely :/
