Targa Image Sequence Compiling with alpha

Post by DJ_Izumi » Fri Oct 06, 2006 9:36 pm

I'm doing masking frame by frame in photoshop basicly. I'm exporting alpha layered Targa's as the result...

But I have no software to compile the resulting sequence, cause VirtualDub murders the alpha layer. So what can I use to get these images into a nice happy RGB+A AVI? :3

Your NLE won't do it?

Well I'd like something a little faster and more automated than importing and dropping in 83 frames...

most NLEs offer an option to import an image sequence.

Well I can't see a way to make Premiere 6.5 do it.

Can I make AVS do it somehow?

i dont remember where it was in the settings, but you can set how long you want clips to be when you import them, if you set them to 1 frame each, then import all of your frames, then throw them onto the timeling *may take a bit of time* then it should work... but other then that, i dunno..

import... select first image in sequence (make sure all the images are numbered...) and check the "numbered stills" check box at the bottom of the open dialog window.
