Will Premiere Pro 2.0 Edit CORRECTLY in 23.976?
I know all other versions give this settings hell but will the new version handle it right? I'm looking into getting it and I was wondering If i could edit in 2.0 without having to do the workaround to edit in 24 FPS.

By default, Premiere will import 23.976 but interpret the framerate incorrectly. After importing, right-click on the video and choose "Interpret footage" and manually specify 23.976 fps as the framerate.

Its possible but it depends on how the actual framerate stored in the file, and perhaps even the type of file.
Framerates are stored as a rational value, not a decimal. The correct framerate would be 24000/1001, which comes out to 23.976023976023976023976023976024
If you have this framerate stored accurately, then, in my experience Premiere 2.0 will interpret it correctly.
However, if the framerate is stored as simply 23.97600000, or a rational value of 2997/125, then Premiere will interpret it incorrectly.
