magix movie edit 10

Post by mortikai » Mon Feb 20, 2006 6:34 pm

hi

does anybody use this program: Magix movie edit 10?

if so, would you know any useful tutorials or tips to make amvs with it, beecause im trying to swtich from moviemaker to this (though movie maker seems a lot easier)

and would anybody know an easier way to import and seperate scenes without having to put it in the movie, then seperate it with scene recognizer, and then put all the scene's in one spot?

thanks anyway, im sure its a good program, but its really complicated

Try the Magix website?

I've got this program at home, but I still use Vegas when I can. :P

As far as I know, there is no way to seperate scenes other than the method you mentioned above.

Can't you save scenes as takes?

I use an earlier version of Magix, and it lets me do that. I do the scene recognition before I get to the actual editing, save all the scenes as takes, and then get to the actual editing.

Anyway, there's the 'cut' tool. In my version, it's hotkeyed to 'T'.

Magix US MEP Forum

I use this program to make my vids.

best website for MEP help - a lot of good users there and usually have very good answers for your questions.

As to making clips out of your DVD source, I'd suggest making the clips BEFORE you go into MEP-10. this way you can filter and edit your clips quicker pre-process instead of trying to find a bunch of filters that will clean all of your vid AFTER you've made it (not all clips require the same level of cleaning).

I suggest using DGIndex (found in the AMVAPP), clip your scenes you want with that (and then you can set it up to write AVS files for you automatically too), use VirtualDubMod to batch process all your AVS files and bammo, you've got your clips!
