Premiere 6.5 - How to copy multiple clips?

Post by Sammy » Sun Jun 19, 2005 8:36 am

Dont know if this is a stupid question, but I remember using Premiere 5.1 and if I selected multiple clips in the timeline - select edit, copy it would copy them all.

Now in 6.5, I can select them, and move them, but cant copy them using edit, copy - its greyed out.

BTW, when selecting a single clip in the timeline, the edit-copy command is avaliable.

:!: First one to help me with this problem gets 2 free opinions on there vids. :!:

Hmm the only way i know is by making a virtual clip... Press M i think 2 times till it goes on the Block Select Tool, then you just drag it on the clips you want selected and move it anywhere on the timeline, it'll make an audio file... you can get rid of that by locking the video track on which the virtual clip is at and select and delete. If this helps, you don't have to give me an opinion :) Just give it to someone else who makes a posts next here :)

Hey, that worked.

Thanks a lot.

Ok, I'll do that, but if no one posts, then I'll post an opinion for your video.

Ok.
