AMV Free/Open Source Software Lists

I realize this is probably going to get me killed since these issues were raised way back in 2005, but just now read this whole thread and I wanna throw in my two cents:
About the FTP client, I noticed no one mentioned FileZilla, which is licensed under the GPL and is included in AMVApp.
Second, about the definition of Free: for my own clarification I call software licensed under the GPL 'GPL'd software' and everything else under Free 'open source'.

all of the software included in the amvapp will help in one stage or another (stages of making an amv that is)
and to make a good amv, it takes practice, talent, patience and a bit of luck (quality programs like adobe premiere or final cut pro also can help)
to become good, I'd reccomend watching good videos (see the top 10%, accessable through your members main page)

I heartily disagree. The top ten percent are more like what the org as a whole is thinking.
