Fading

In Adobe Premiere 6.5, what would be the fading transition?

Cross dissolve?

A much easier way is to click and drag the red opacity "rubberbands" that you can see on the clips.

I'm still new to the whole rubber band thing.....Like, how do I use it? do I make it go up? down? I dont know.

I'm still new to the different stuff with Adobe Premiere even though I've used it before.

The lower you go with the "rubberband" fade tool the more transparent things become.

Does it only work in the column Video 2 and up?

Just search the Premiere help file for "opacity rubberbands".
