Avisynth help

Post by MousePotato » Fri Jan 14, 2005 9:41 pm

I'm following the guide and when I tryed to open the colorbars script in Windows Media Player it said that it could not play the file eitherbecause it can't support the file type or the codec that was used to compress it.

Any suggestions?

do you have the latest amvapp (from Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>) installed?
does the avs script work in windows media player 6.4? if not, what message does 6.4 give?

O, ok, I didn't realize that it needs to be run in 6.5. I'm using media player 10.

How do I access Media player 6.4 when I have Media player 10 installed?

Also, I trying bring in footage into VirtualDubMod by having it create a avs. for my but it said that it could not open the file. When I went back to the folder with the vob files, VirtualDubMod had created a default avs. of the vob that I have tried to import earlier. Now I'm confused, tired, and reallt to wake up and go to class in four years.

Thanks for the help.

media player 6.4 should be installed even when you have wmp 10 installed. look in your program files/windows media player/ for mplayer2.exe

and what error message does vdub give you when you try to open the avs?

Open the avisynth file in notepad, copy the contents, paste them into your post and press submit.
