AVISyn Problem

Post by thedyinggiraffe » Sat Nov 20, 2004 5:33 pm

I've been following the guide on using avisyn and when I import the .avs into Premier (it recognizes it as legit) all that it displays is the error

Unrecognized Exception!
(C:\test.avs, line 2)

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

if its a simple script the problme may be avisynth itself..... can u run the script outside premiere?

Alright, here's the full everything
I have installed (in this order) Gordian Knot rippack 0.28.8 and then The AMVapp v1.2

Script

LoadPlugin("C:\AVSFilters\MPEG2Dec3.dll")
MPEG2Source("C:\DVD\Projects\trigun-d1.d2v")

What is displayed when I open it in either Premeir or Media Player

Unrecognized exception!
(C:\My Documents\test.avs, line 2)

Ok, I got the avs file to work in Premier - it had something to do with my vob files and fixed itself after I reripped them. But now when I try to edit them in Premier, the footage keeps changing position. For example, I did a razor edit in one spot to make a clip, and then the position the razor edit was in was not where I had put it before. The position keeps changing on me and it is very frustrating.

Sounds like a bad index. Is it changing a lot, or only one or two frames?
