AVS files in programs other than Premiere

Post by Rosie-chan » Sat Aug 07, 2004 1:53 pm

So, I am READFAGing, and trying to figure out which one of the three <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... ethoods I want to use. Problem is, of course, the fact that all of the instructions are written for Premiere which I'm not using...or would if I could get my hands on an older verison. (This being my first video, I'll be testing the waters with the demo version of Sony Vegas Studio 4).

So, questions in a nutshell:

- How well does Vegas handle .avs files?
- Is it possible to do that methood 3 "Replace Clips" trick in Vegas? (Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides for details).

Well I believe Vegas can handle .avs files with no problem as well as the bait and switch method. I have seen alot of post about using Vegas from "Bum" so hpefully he will post here as well. But to the best of my knowledge (Which ain't much when it comes to Vegas) you should be OK.

You should probably READBAG more than Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides.

This section should help you, especially this page.
