Heh, I got that same 'error/warning' when I tried to reinstall (upgrade) windows movie maker 2.0 - using the download directly from the XP website. Brand new upgrade, right from the people who made it for the computer I'm using - and it still said it wasn't 'safe' to use on the computer it was made for.

That 'logo testing' is crap with windows xp. If you can install it and ignore the warning, go for it.
stupidly enough, some guy got that warning when he tried installing directx9b . microsoft. idiots.
