Installation DISKETTE? You mean people actually still use those things? :P :P

God, imagine if Premiere came on 3.5" floppy. It'd take a fucking month to install it...

I can't explain anything because I haven't got premiere pro. I also didn't compile this code so I can't vouch for the method of compilation (in the past VC6 has worked better than .net, so it may be worth compiling it with that)

It doesn't work for me, I get this error message:

Adobe Premiere Pro.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere Pro\Plug-ins\IM-Avisynth.prm is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
I am going to try to recompile everything this weekend with all the visual studio service packs installed.(I think they were installed on the machine I compiled it on at school.) Also I will try to add 24-bit support. I hope that this will fix any errors you are getting.
Man, this sucks. Editing mpeg2 with this shit is sooooooo slow!
On my machine AVS seems about the same speed as on 6/6.5. This means that using AVS to directly edit Vob files has "ok" speed but once the IVTC is stuck in there it is slow as hell. This is why you should use the MJPEG workaround as described in the guides.

Also one last note, I am the one who did the patching of the code, so if it doesn’t work don't go complaining to McKeed, AD, Bush, God or anyone else about it, just me.

A2E - would you like me to try compiling with VC6? That seemed to offer the best compatibility when we were messing around with updating the code originally.

VC6 is what I am using, but if you want to give it a shot go right ahead. I have so many papers due over the next two weeks I barely have time to post this message.
