Problem with Premiere 6.0

Ok, for a while now I've been working on a new amv, and everything has been going great. Then the next time I open the project file for my new amv in premiere, some of the clips seem to only have the first frame displayed on the timeline while the rest of it is missing, I checked the project bin for the clip and for some reason it thinks the duration of the clip is 10 seconds long when the actual clip is over 1 hour and 20 minutes, I tried opening the same file in other applications such as virtual dub and it seems fine, so I know theres nothing wrong with the file itself. I already tried reinstalling premiere and it had no effect. If anyone out there can think of a few things to help me out, I'd really appreciate a response.

What is the codec the clips are in? Wouldn't happen to be DivX (or any of the MPEG4 based codecs) would it?

This seems to be a problem with your codecs (If you're using avs files, then with your avisynth-version)

Don't edit in any mpeg4-format (includes divx & xvid).

If you don't, try to remember what you have changed with your codecs between last time editing and now...

im using avisynth, nothing having to do with xvid, divx, etc

oh, and im using the avisynth version that came with the amvapp, so i don't think it has to do with the version i have.
