SmartRipper problems

Post by Rozard » Thu Apr 17, 2003 3:20 am

I don't really know where to begin. I think, before I formatted my HD, I had ASPI, or whatever it is (or does), but I don't now/ At any rate, everything has worked fine. I just ripped FLCL Vol. 1 fine. I go to rip Vol. 2 and it tells me the first ISO is locked.

It's 4am in the morning, I don't know what I'm doing... Has anyone else had problems with the DVD, or is there something I need to download? I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it :? Maybe another ripper will work?

SmartRipper and DVD Decryptor are at thr same level. Roz, install an ASPI layer. Google for it.

Actually, I downloaded DVDDecryptor, and I was able to get the vobs :? I believe I found an ASPI layer on Google, downloaded it, and SmartRipper still didn't work. I was about to get the files, though, so all is well :o

Sometime SmartRipper need you to play the movie in a player first to unlock whatever vobs, and then you can decrypt the dvd.

Good thing you're using DVD Dycrypter though

When SmartRipper is being a complete jackass, I can count on DVD Deccryptor to get the job done without a hassle.
