Sony Vegas XVID

I drop an XVID avi in the timeline but nothing plays? Why? Xvid is instaled already. :?

Editing programs don't like DivX/XviD. Convert the parts you need to Lagarith or Huffyuv in Virtualdub first.

Thanks, i guess i need to make some space for these new huge files. Is their no other codec i can use?

When I had this problem I just had to change the FourCC to DX50

Codec changer that i use after saving files in xvid. Its easy to get the hang of once you figure out how to use it.

Actually, more like cancer. You might not have problems in the beginning, but after a while you'll be spending a lot of time trying to diagnose problems.
