Help! Premiere Pro 1.5 being stubborn!

Post by oakley1261 » Sat Sep 18, 2004 8:18 pm

Im having problems. Just installed premiere pro 1.5, and well. Everytime I try to go and edit files, take clips. It displays NOTHING but a black screen for the Sequence window. if I drag over the clip to the other monitor, it displays fine. But I can't do anything with the timeline, besides listen to the sound. Any ideas what I can do here? It dosn't seem to do it with short clips, but long raws that I toss in, ect.. ect.. it won't show me a thing. Any help would be appreciated. as this is my biggest pet peave of premiere. Also, as a side request. How in the world can i get premiere to export the audio in mp3 format for amvs? The one that came with it only encodes up to 56kbits. soo.... yeah... Anyway, thanks in advance.

Get the <a href="http://mitiok.cjb.net/">LAME MP3</a> codec.

But export audio from Premiere as uncompressed PCM, not MP3. You can always compress it later in VirtualDub(/Mod), and it's good to have the lossless copy around.
