::I Have Problems::

Post by SilentAngel » Mon May 12, 2003 1:45 pm

I just finished an AMV and planned to put it up today, and then i played it on my player. It came out really slow, meaning, it kept on freezing from frame to frame. It's really annoying :x ... I have no clue what to do, so i'm here to get some professional help. ^_^ ........ HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! /_\

There are two likely problems:

(a) You didn't compress the video or you set the bitrate too high,

(b) Your computer is a piece of crap

What settings (framerate, biutrate, etc) are you using, and what computer do you have?

The bitrate seems reasonable, but can your computer handle it? How fast is your CPU? How much RAM do you have?

Try setting the bitrate lower and see what happens.

Or try just making the resolution smaller. My older computer can have a hard time trying to play files that are 640 x 480. Try making it "320 x 240" or "480 x 352" and see if it changes anything.
